Description
An Environmental Management System (EMS) provides private and public sector organizations with a systematic approach to environmental improvement. Learn to use the international EMS standard ISO 14001 as the framework for environmental improvement, sustainability programs, carbon reduction strategies, environmental compliance, and operational efficiencies.

Gary Lucks, J.D., CPEA, is a principal attorney and scientist with Beyond Compliance LLC, where he advises clients on multimedia environmental management systems (EMS) and environmental compliance. Lucks specializes in environmental compliance auditing, compliance management systems (CMS), compliance counseling, EMS, environmental training, environmental permitting, greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and reduction, and pollution prevention.
Susan Sakaki, M.P.A., CHMM, is an environmental management and sustainability consultant with over 30 years of experience. She is owner of EnviroSystems Group and co-founder of Sustainable Earth Initiative.
